Proof of time travelers?

Ghost Makes Contact

This is said to be a hoax now by many, but it is a good one nonetheless...

An Entity at the Sewage-Treatment Plant

...In my city, there also was an old sewage treatment plant that was the scene of several murders, including that of a police officer who's body was never recovered. Some said it wasn't recovered because it fell into an open sewer vat that divers would not go into. I don't know whether or not I believe that excuse, but I can tell you that it was a freaky place...

...We used to go there when I was a teenager, for a place to drink beers. The place had already been shut down for years, so there was no sewage actually left there. It was just an abandoned building complex by then, complete with underground tunnels. I went through them plenty of times, but I got really spooked one afternoon and I can't really say why. I was about to use a tunnel to go from one building to another. The floor was leaf-strewn, the tile walls graffitied. It was really dark down there, as usual, but I knew that once you got to the other end there was light again as soon as you rounded a corner. I never even took a flashlight down there since you really didn't have to take more than a few steps without seeing where you were going once your eyes adjusted. On this particular day, I was just overcome with a sense of dread. As if something was literally staring back at me from the darkness. I stopped. I just had the sense that there was something there, waiting, as if it was a trap almost. I did not go through the tunnel ever again, especially after what happened the next time...

...There was a group of us, maybe twelve to fifteen I would say. We decided we would go upstairs and out onto the roof with our beers, and enjoy the view of the river. The metal staircase had several landings and clung to the walls of a sort of open central area that was squared off. There was a bit of danger at the top as the metal railing had fallen away, and it was a four-story fall into the basement. But obviously we were smart enough to just stay away from the edge. The door was solid steel and rusted open at the hinges for at least a decade I would say. Furthermore, a substantial pile of petrified cat excrement made for a door-stop...

...So back to the night in question. A damp and chilly late-autumn night. The group of us ascended the staircase single file, laughing and joking around. I was about in the middle, and halfway up when I turned to look back. In a sort of domino effect, or like the buck being, passed I watched as everyone's head turned back to look at the person in front of them, after having looked back as I had done. I thought it was odd for a second. Then I felt a dry hot breeze rush past me, spiraling up the staircase. I quickly turned forward again, and watched those in front of me turning their heads to follow was well. Now all this happened in a matter of seconds. At the top, my buddy Puba was about to step through the doorway into the room that led out to the roof-spot. Suddenly he was thrown off-balance and staggered toward the edge where the section of rail was missing, as the immovable metal door slammed shut! He managed to catch himself with the edge of the rail that remained. As all of this was still processing in my brain there was a great, deep, despairing groan. Not emanating from anywhere, but everywhere. As if the building itself had decided to groan and shudder. We all stood frozen for a second, two at most, and ran back the way we had come...

...The path out front was narrow with a swampy bog of rotted down field grass and old rain on either side. I ended up knee deep in it, running, splashing. We had all taken our time getting over the triple lined barbed wire that topped the 12-foot chain link fence surrounding the property. We were all badly bloodied getting back over...

...We all agreed to what we had just experienced, but no one wanted to talk about it after that. In fact, quite a few of the group refused to associate with eachother after that. I don't know what it was, but there was something there that night. I never went back. Ever.

EDIT to add update: The plant has since been torn down, and a big very fancy restaurant and catering hall has been built there. Ironically enough, the restaurant is called "Shadows."

An entity by day

I hadn't talked about this experience in more than a decade. The girl I was with at the time is long gone, and life is a lot different from what it used to be. But recently I've had a few friends ask me if I have ever had any "strange" experiences. I have had a few, and this is one of them. I decided to go ahead and post it here, so that I can direct my online friends to the page rather than re-hashing the story over and over again. If anyone has any questions, perhaps having had a similar experience, feel free to contact me.

I was in my late teens, still living at home, on a Summer day. My girlfriend and I went out for a walk barefoot around the suburban neighborhood. It was getting later in the day, but not dark or even “shadowy” yet. My house was a split-ranch like every other in the neighborhood, and sat on a bit of a hill on about the same size lot as everyone else. Coming down the street I had line of sight to it, though it was just around a corner. Not an intersection, just a 90 degree turn. I could see it over the bit of hill that was a neighbor's front yard on the inside of the turn, or the right side, where my house would be on the left just around the turn.

Anyway, we were walking slowly and chit-chatting about nothing in particular really. Just about how nice the day was after the heat-wave had broken. I can still remember the warm pavement under my bare feet. Looking up ahead, I saw something on the turn, from a distance of maybe 50-yards I'm guessing. It looked like an oil slick on the street, like someone had ruptured a vital component to their vehicle. My next-door neighbors (who's house did not come into view until one rounded the turn) usually had an old car or two that they were tinkering with at any given time, and beat up their cars pretty well too. I was good friends with the whole family, and knew that one of my buddies had just gotten another car recently, so I figured it was him who left the slick all over the road, and actually said something along those lines to my girlfriend. “’X’ must have lost his oilpan.” There wasn't a break in our step, or any eerie inclination that anything unusual was about to happen.

As I said, sunny day, meaningless conversation, and a very casual pace to our stroll. Not the setting for anything bizarre whatsoever. As we got closer, obviously I was looking at this "oil slick" ahead of us. The first inclination that I had that something was odd, was that this stain in the road was darker than oil. Black, and did not glimmer with wetness like the sheen of fresh oil, nor was there any texture to the blotch. By this point we had gotten quite close to it. Before I could process the thought really, the truly bizarre event unfolded.

The dark spot moved. Like something coming up out of the ground. Like a man pulling himself up out of a manhole where there was none. There was form, but no depth. I could see the arms, the shoulders, pull of this thing pull itself up out of the hole that it seemed to be made of. By the time it got to its feet, there was no mark left on the pavement. It was short, 4 and a half feet tall maybe. Other than the outline, there were no distinguishable features. The head was little more than a bump between broad, shaggy shoulders. It paused in a stance of forward intent. Imagine the shadow of a little troll warrior, with his head hung low, wearing shaggy furs, and a shape indicative of massive upper-body strength. No other features though, no face or anything, just the 2D profile, yet somehow it did seem to have depth almost, since it didn't really have edges either, like even a shadow does. I guess it's just really hard to explain what a completely black 3D shadow looks like.

So it pulls itself out, gives a little hop, and pauses for a second as I see the shoulders move up and down once or twice as if it is breathing heavily. It emits no sound. Then it steps forward, quickly. Not a charge or a run, but as if with direct purpose. Almost like stomping forward, right at us. This all happened in less than five seconds I would say, and we were only steps away from the "stain" when it moved. It took four, maybe five steps directly at us.

Now here's where it gets really weird. My girlfriend and I spun in and let go of eachother's hand, as it seemed to be going between us. But it didn't go exactly between us. It was slightly more toward me, but it actually moved through both of us. I was instantly nauseous and cold. It's almost impossible to explain what it felt like. Imagine you actually had the sense of feeling in all of your internal organs, and then imagine what it would feel like if they were all packed with cold clay. That's sort of what it felt like. My girlfriend only got clipped on the side and limbs. She wasn't nauseous, just cold. As we spun and this thing moved through us, it stepped down, back into the ground, as if desceding down hidden stairs, and completely disappeared.

We looked at eachother, the shock settling in. My brain raced to make sense of it. I was sure I was dreaming for a second. No, I could clearly remember everything about the day, nothing ethereal in my surroundings. I must have been hallucinating? I don't know what was more scary, the event itself or the looking into my girlfriend's eyes and sharing a mutual realization that this did just happen to us. You can’t even imagine. My brain was already working overtime to explain it away, but the hop of that was lost, when we said to eachother without any words, “Oh my god, yes, that really did just happen.”

We barely made it to my house, just so weak and drained of energy. We briefly tried to explain to my mother what had happened before passing out on the living room floor. We slept through the rest of the day, that night, through the next day, and into the following night, without even bothering to drag ourselves to bed upstairs that I remember, though we did finally wake up in bed, with a lot more explaining to do to my mother.

For a few days we talked about it with eachother. Trying to understand and accept that this really had happened to us as much as trying to figure out exactly what had happened to us. Then as days turned into weeks, life went on, and we completely forgot about it. There was nothing there to ground the memory in reality I suppose. But then one day, about a year later walking down the same street, the memory came rushing back to us at the same time. I trembled, her eyes welled up, and we swore to eachother to never forget again.

Planet X spotted in 1983?

I actually remember this as a child. Thought it was an awesome discovery of a lifetime. And then it disappeared from all media sources and scientific journals. So what gives huh? Media blackout? Or is it just scientists not being able to interpret the data correctly?

Washington Post 1983 – Planet X Discovered

Intro to the unexplained

Often times people ask me what first got me into the unexplained and conspiracy theory material. I guess I have actually always been into it in some way or another, thanks in part to family members who have been less than mainstream in their spare time and in their associations. With high-ranking Freemasons, to occultists, to dedicated UFO researchers, as well as artists and musicians and so forth, family conversation has never been dull. We have also had our fair share of encounters with the bizarre and unknown. But I also have a passion for history, again influenced in part by my own family. I dug into the history of my own bloodline and found some pretty cool ancestors, which qualify me for membership in the Sons of the Revolution, and a claim to the throne of France, if they weren't a democracy now of course. I have had a keen interest of ancient history since middle-school as well.

So you run those two things together, and you wind up with what some call the study of alternate history. No, I am not talking about fan-fiction of the pulp variety, but an actual belief that the history of the world as we know and understand it today may actually be quite different from what we learn in textbooks and other commonly accepted sources. So why would anyone have any reason to doubt the accepted version of the history of the world? Well, there are artifacts, real tangible evidence which cannot be explained by science, if you take the standardized history of the world at face value.

Not surprisingly, when I stumbled across information on the so called out-of-place-artifacts, or OOPARTS as they are called by some, I was totally intrigued. Actual tangible items which defy scientific explanation, especially if viewed through the lens of our own commonly accepted version of history.

Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah. Just a bunch of hoaxes and stuff that science doesn't really have to explain right? Well let's have a look at this article from Cracked magazine. If you know them, you know that with their dry wit and humorous sarcasm, they would usually be the ones saying, "yeah right, what a bunch of crap that is." So let's see what they have to say...

6 Insane Discoveries That Science Can't Explain

We like to feel superior to the people who lived centuries ago, what with their shitty mud huts and curing colds by drilling a hole in their skulls. But we have to give them credit: They left behind some artifacts that have left the smartest of modern scientists scratching their heads.

For instance, you have the following enigmas that we believe were created for no other purpose than to fuck with future generations.

Pretty bizarre stuff right? Now as you can see there, most of the stuff has been dug up by archaeologists. So let me give you some more links dealing wacky stuff dug up from the Earth and so forth...

As pointed out in the Cracked article however, not all of the unexplained is limited to artifacts of ancient history. There is also unexplainable scientific data for more contemporary events. So where they went to the bottom of the sea to close their article, let us look toward the skies. And I am not talking about shaky videos from a bored housewife catching blurry images of flares over military training grounds. This link will examine the government documentation and scientific data of what might be considered, the OOPARTS of the sky...

Did the Allspark Cube make a crash landing in Sudan?

Okay, so maybe it wasn't really the All Spark but it certainly is a strange mystery just the same.

August 3, 1967 - Shamal Darfur, Sudan

A mysterious object plummets from the sky, slamming into the remote desert of western Sudan, approximately 60 miles north by northwest of Al Fashir.

Origin- unknown

The object is reported to be in the shape of a cube, weighing 3 tons. It is made up of smaller, tightly packed oblong cubes measuring one inch by two inches each, but the total size of the object is not reported nor the third dimensional measurement of the smaller cubes. The cubes are made of a soft metal, presumed to be light aluminum, yet cutting samples of it was said to be difficult. How exactly the cubes were fastened together forming the larger cube is unknown.

The entire cube was shrouded in a silky material. There were no markings apparent on the object to identify it. No photographs have ever been made public, though it is reported that local officials did take photos. There is no description of an impact crater. The object is reported to be a satellite, but there are a number of problems with that conclusion.

Skylab
Satellites are not designed to survive the re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. Even when the remnants of Skylab space station fell out of orbit and disintegrated over Australia upon re-entry in 1979, the largest piece to be recovered on the ground was an oxygen tank. Nowhere near as massive as the Sudan object.

Aluminum melts at 350-degrees Fahrenheit. It is unlikely it would have tumbled through Earth's atmosphere from space without disintegrating and vaporizing, unless it was either protected by a heat shield of some sort, though no such shielding is reported, or if it was originally much, much larger than the object recovered.

So what was this silk-like substance that the cube was covered by? Hardly the sort of material one might expect to be used as a heat shield. Re-entry vehicles such as space-capsules and the Space Shuttle used specially engineered ceramic tiles in order to survive the extreme temperatures of re-entry into the atmosphere. Remembering the Shuttle Columbia tragedy, we can see what happens to an object when the heat shield fails. It may be possible that the silk-like material was a parachute which deployed on the object's final descent. That might also explain the lack of an impact crater being reported if it was indeed a soft landing. But there are a few problems with that theory too.

Why wasn't the material simply identified as a parachute? Where did the heat shield go? Why would an unmanned satellite be designed to fall out of orbit, for what purpose? It costs a lot of money and takes a lot hard work to put something that large up into space. Why would you want to bring it back down?

All of these questions suddenly become academic though as we dig a little deeper and find that we could not have put it into space in the first place. If it was in fact a man-made satellite, how in fact did it get up there? To that date, there was no rocket in the world powerful enough hoist a 3-ton satellite into orbit. The only rocket powerful enough to accomplish such a mission would have been the U.S. Saturn V rocket which did not launch on it's maiden voyage until November 9 of that same year, about three months after this object slammed into the Sudan desert intact. Though now decommissioned, to date the Saturn V remains the most powerful operational rocket ever built and still holds the record for the heaviest launch vehicle payload.

Despite mankind's apparent technological inability to launch such a massive object, there have also been other reports of inexplicably massive satellites being observed over the years. The so-called Black Knight satellite is one such example of the phenomenon. Was this object that fell to the ground in Africa the Black Knight, or something similar? Check out our previous article on that here...

Black Knight Satellite Mystery

It is unlikely that if the United States launched such an object into space, that they would also be wondering what it was and where it came from. The United States officially denies that an object that massive has ever been recovered, as we see in an alleged de-classified report from the Department of State. Relevant portion quoted here...
Q and A with regard to the Soviet Space objects which fell in the middle west.

Questions asked by US Senate Committee on Aeronautical and Space Sciences, 92D Congress, 2nd Session, Staff Report, May 1972.

Q: Have any fragments as large as these ever come back to earth from US or other Soviet Satellites?

A: We do not have any record of a US fragment or of another Soviet fragment as large as the largest COSMOS 316 fragment surviving re-entry. The largest COSMOS 316 fragment is approximately 4 ft by 4ft and weighs 640 pounds.

So is this entire story simply a myth, a hoax? So often that's what these sorts of stories are usually written off as anyway, so it would probably be easy to do that here as well. Although we do have some corroboration that the object was recovered as part of Project Moondust. But I think we can do one better. Let's go ahead and have a look at a document I found at the Defense Intelligence Agency, which contradicts State Department report.

I originally found the document at this address which is no longer valid... http://www.dia.mil/publicaffairs/Foia/ufo2.pdf

Before it was removed though, I made a copy of the entire two part file. You will find the original document on page 52 of this pdf file... http://www.mediafire.com/?vwh4u5a20nd7ab7

Black Knight Satellite Mystery

1927-28 – Norwegian scientists, led by Carl Stoermer (Professor of Mathematics, University Oslo) record Long Delay Echoes (LDE) from radio broadcasts, measuring minutes to hours apart. To this day the phenomenon cannot be explained.

1953 – Famed astronomer and discoverer of Pluto, Clyde Tombaugh, begins work on a project for the Army Office of Ordnance Research alongside Dr. Lincoln La Paz, a fellow astronomer and meteor expert who had secretly worked for the military previously investigating the Green Fireballs UFO phenomenon. According to the Army, the project was meant to locate natural, near-Earth satellites which could be used as a space-station. However, according to Donald Keyhoe, who wold go on to become director of NICAP, the true purpose of the project was to identify two objects which had suddenly appeared on long-range radar. In 1954 Aviation Week breaks a story, which is picked up by major newspapers the following day, that the project has led to the discovery of two near-Earth satellites, at a range of 400 and 600 miles. Despite alleged confirmations by inside sources for publications such as the New York Times, La Paz denies ever working for such a project, and Tombough refuses to comment in an interview with Popular Mechanics in late 1955. The Army has never released the results of the study.

1957 – An object is tracked shadowing Sputnik I, the first man-made satellite to be launched into Earth's orbit.  Two months later, Dr Luis Corralos of the Communications Ministry in Venezuela photographs an object while taking shots of Sputnik II passing over Caracas.

1960, February – North American Air Defense System (NORAD predecessor) detects object with a mass of 15 metric tons in polar orbit, using their newly operational "Dark Fence" detection system. Check out today's Space Fence program.) It is several times larger than anything the US or Soviets are capable of launching into orbit at that time. The object, dubbed “Black Knight” by the military, is tracked for three weeks and abruptly disappears. Ham radio operators once again report LDE phenomenon during this period. One radio operator claims to detect a coded message translated to be a map of the star-system Epsilon Boštes.

1960 – “Bracewell Probe” theory first proposed in an article published in Nature magazine by Professor Ronald Bracewell of Stanford University.

1960, September 3 - Unidentified satellite photographed by a tracking camera at the Bethpage plant of Grumman Aircraft Factory on Long Island, at 8:51 PM, seven months after it first appeared on radar. It could sometimes be seen from the ground as a red glowing object moving in an east-west orbit at a time when most satellites moved West-east.

1963 - On the last pass of his 22-orbit mission, American Astronaut Gordon Cooper reports to the Muchea tracking station in Australia, that he sees a glowing green object ahead of him in space which appeared to be closing in on his capsule. The station picks up a radar return of the object and confirms that it is traveling in an East-West orbit. Later, officials claimed he was hallucinating as a result of an electrical malfunction and carbon dioxide poisoning. He will not be the last Astronaut to see an unidentified object.

1967, August 3 – Three ton object slams into Sudan desert. It is of unknown origin, and presumably larger than anything that could be put into orbit until the Saturn V rocket went operational on 9 November of that year. Object is cube shaped and made up of many two inch by one inch rectangular pieces of aluminum-like soft metal packed together tightly under a woven shroud. There are no markings. Was this a crash landing of the Black Knight Satellite? Was there, or is there perhaps more than one such inexplicable object in the space near Earth?

1970’s - Scottish astronomer Duncan Lunan interprets the 1927 LDE’s as a star map of Epsilon Boštes, as it would have appeared from Earth 13,000 years ago. It is published by British Interplanetary Society, Journal of the Society of Electronic and Radio Technicians, and Analog, among others.

Since then, a number of other objects have been speculated about as being the Black Knight, or perhaps a similar object. Other sources have come up with tales from supposed insiders, of NASA secrets and covert missions to recover a monolith in 1972. Some speculate that a bizarre radio signal picked up in 2004 on the Cassini mission near Saturn, may have been the mysterious Black Knight once again.

Here is what interpreter and former Airforce Sgt. Clifford Stone had to say about it...

C: Well, I’ll tell you this, I think that by 2016 that something better have happened. Because at 2016 I think that we’re going to have to announce to the world that there’s a probe that comes very close to the Earth every 15 or 20 years. And we’ve been calling it an asteroid. It’s not an asteroid. But it actually in reality is an artificial probe. In other words, somebody else put it here. They have found us long time ago. The technology will probably be pretty much on a par to, say, Voyager. It’ll be old antiquated technology by all their standards.

K: So what are you saying? Is this probe… do you know what race?

C: I’m saying we have already found it. Our paradigm says that it can’t be an artificial craft of any sort, therefore we refuse to accept that and we call it an asteroid. I’m talking about BG1991. Roughly 30 meters in diameter, highly polished surface. Asteroids don’t have a highly polished surface. It took corrective course changes to avoid collision with another asteroid. That don’t happen. This one it did.

K: So where... what race is this from, from what planet? Do you know?

C: I don’t know.

Crackpot? Perhaps. Some testimony is stronger than others, and some data is better and more thorough than other evidence. But is certainly seems clear, that there have indeed been unexplainable objects in our skies. That is not to say little green men from Mars either. That is often the supposition, if in many of the sources I have linked here, but not necessarily the truth. Perhaps even, these objects are remnants of some long lost, ancient civilization right here on Earth, that reached a pinnacle of technology before collapsing under it's own weight, like the fabled Atlantis.

Here is what I dug up on YouTube about the Black Knight. Not really too much there. Not a very popular conspiracy theory for the most part, but one that is quite interesting to most of us who stumble across it.

How about some theme music...
